opening up again!
I am thrilled that we are now open inside and outside in the garden for all our lovely customers. we have capacity for 60 outside and 40 inside, with social distancing. opening hours will be monday to thursday 12pm – 3.00pm, and 5pm – 11.30pm , friday and saturday, 12pm – 12.am, and sunday 12pm – 11.30pm. you may come through the pub, or enter via the garden. From the 19th july we will return to service at the bar only. staff and customers are no longer required to wear masks.

Big hoppy IPA style beer, packed full of Kiwi hops with hints of honey and nectar and plenty of tropical citrus and floral notes.
Thornbridge: Jaipur 5.9%
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey.

5 Points: Best Bitter 4.1%
Five Points Best is a single-hopped Best Bitter, brewed with Fuggles hops from Hukins Hops. Refreshing and smooth, Best has notes of caramel and biscuit, and a lovely grassy, herbal freshness that makes you want to reach for another one.
5 Points: Pale 4.4%
Our Five Points Pale is a fresh, zesty, aromatic pale ale brewed with malted barley, a little wheat, and Amarillo and Citra hops from the West Coast of the USA. It’s our flagship beer, and its citrus, resinous notes make it a perfect easy-drinking beer for any occasion.
Iron Pier: Wealdway IPA 4.5%
A session strength IPA packed full of Columbus and Chinook for a piney, resinous aroma and balanced bitterness.
Burning Sky: Plateau 3.5%
Pale gold in colour, with a crisp malt edge and sharp bitterness. Plateau has been hopped at different stages of the brew, with a big mix of US & NZ hops to satisfy the discerning drinker.
Musket: Trigger 3.6%
An easy drinking, hoppy, Pale Ale that can magically transport you to rolling Hop Gardens, where wild flowers are in abundance and bees are pollinating the blackcurrant bushes. Evokes childhood memories of bygone summers!
St Austell: Tribute 4.2%
The South West’s favourite beer, Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale. The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt for this superb classic.
St Austell: Trelawny 3.8%
This full-bodied, malty beer is a great partner to robust flavours. A delicate apricot aroma is followed by peach and toffee on the palate and a toasted bitter finish.
Butcombe: Best Bitter 4%
Created from Maris Otter malt and a secret blend of English hops. Meticulously crafted before ‘craft’ was even a thing. Its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshing flavour has been Bristol’s go-to for good times since the 1970’s.
Kent: Quiet American 4.2%
A light and fresh American Pale Ale that is both floral and citrusy, with a hint of grapefruit.
