I am thrilled that we are now open inside and outside in the garden for all our lovely customers. we have capacity for 60 outside and 40 inside, with social distancing. opening hours will be  monday to thursday 12pm – 3.00pm, and 5.30pm – 11.30pm ,  friday and saturday, 12pm – 12.am, and sunday 12pm – 11.30pm. you may come through the pub, or enter via the garden. From the 19th july we will return to service at the bar only. staff and customers are no longer required to wear masks.

A Golden Ale which produces tantalising tastes and aromas of spice, honey, marmalade, floral and the merest hint of wild blackcurrant

musket: Ball Puller 4%

The epitome of a premier Kentish Bitter. Admire its captivating colour, before the aroma of finest hops entices you to savour the smoothness and lingering aftertaste, leaving you wanting more of this most excellent beer!

redemption: big chief 5.5%

Big hoppy IPA style beer, packed full of Kiwi hops with hints of honey and nectar and plenty of tropical citrus and floral notes.

only with love: halland oatmeal stout 4.9%

…where Magnum, Columbus and Willamette met one winter’s night to create the world’s hugest smash stout. Big, bold, oh-so creamy, toasty and dark, it’s the perfect chill down tipple.

Fresh, hoppy, clean and bitter. The true taste of East Kent, this pale ale is brewed simply with pale malt and Goldings hops 

harveys: old ale 4.3%

Soft and full-bodied, with hints of dried fruits and dates. Rich, dark and warming. To be enjoyed in the autumn and winter months by a roaring fire.

Skinners: Betty Stogs 4%

She’s brazen, golden-hearted and more than a little fruity! Betty Stogs has been flying the flag for Cornish ale since we unleashed her in 1997; if only we knew then the things she’d get up to…

Arbor: Faked Alaska 6%

New England IPA brewed with Vanilla and Citra, Azacca, El Dorado & Mosaic hops. Contains Lactose.

Skinner: Lushingtons 4.2%

Lushingtons is a cool, hop-laden IPA brewed using traditional methods with Cornish water; whole-flower Citra, Belma and Willamette hops; malted barley and wheat; and Skinner’s unique yeast.

Arbor: Shangri-La 4.3%

Liberally hopped, and highly drinkable, Session India Pale Ale, brewed with Citra, Columbus, Ekuanot & Mosaic hops for maximum flavour.

St Austell: Trelawny 3.8%

This full-bodied, malty beer is a great partner to robust flavours. A delicate apricot aroma is followed by peach and toffee on the palate and a toasted bitter finish.

Wild Beer: Bibble 4.2 %

Pale gold in colour, with a crisp malt edge and sharp bitterness. Plateau has been hopped at different stages of the brew, with a big mix of US & NZ hops to satisfy the discerning drinker. Full in flavour, zesty, refreshing & low in alcohol, this beer will have you returning to the bar for another.

Salopian: Lemon Dream 4.5%

A shimmering golden ale that is brewed using organic lemons which adds beautifully subtle zesty aromas and a citrus filled fruity finish.

Blackjack: Summer Porter 5%

Our Lead Brewers Summer’s Porter with Amarillo’s orange cadence

Harveys: Dark Mild

Malty and Mellow. Soft and slightly sweet with a dry, nutty aftertaste akin to an infusion of ground nuts. Refreshing, hydrating and comforting. 

St Austell: Tribute 4.2%

The South West’s favourite beer, Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale. The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt for this superb classic.

Gadds: No.5 4.4%

A traditional Kentish Best bitter – the aroma is toffee malt and fresh green hops, the flavour is malt, hops and red berries with a full body and lingering bitter finish.

Gadds: Seasider 4.3%

A mellow, easy drinking ale brewed with a little crystal malt and a lot of Goldings hops. Nothing flash, just a very decent malty body and a balancing hop flavour.

Oakham : Citra 4.2%

Light gold in colour, bursting with citrus and tropical hop flavours and sensationally refreshing. The original UK Citra.

Titanic: Plum Porter 5%

A well-rounded porter with fruity, sweet notes over a backdrop of hoppy flavour.

Kent : Prohibition 4.8%

A citrusy pale ale, highly hopped with some of the latest US hop varieties

Kent: Eostre 4.2%

A full on dose of Citra hops in a deliciously refreshing pale ale

Kent: Brewers Reserve 5%
